FOR THOSE STILL IN DOUBT😌

Chelsea are running away with the league title. Why it will difficult to stop Chelsea this season:

1. Chelsea doesn’t have untouchables

A reminder that Tuchel has managed to utilise every player at his disposal this season. He can drop and replace anyone and still a team can win. The quality of Chelsea squad depth is magnificent. No Lukaku no problem. No Mount no problem. No Thiago Silva no problem. No Mendy no problem. No Jorginho and Kovacic no problem. No Kante no problem. Chelsea is a team to beat this season. This is giving Chelsea freedom to rest players. This is in contrast to Liverpool and Man City who have Salah, Mane, KDB, Foden and Ruben Diaz as their untouchables. You keep the said players on bench the clubs are doomed.

2. Chelsea are built on a system that is giving freedom to everyone to score goals.

Looking at statistics of Chelsea this season, goals have come from different positions. Almost everyone in Chelseas’ 25 man squad has either scored a goal or provided an assist. It’s down to the system the club is using. It’s more than 3-4-1-2, 3-3-1-1-2 or 3-4–2-1 or whatever system fans can think of. There is more in systems Tuchel is deploying this season. For example sometimes you see Chelsea wing backs playing as strikers sometimes as midfielders. The functionality of Tuchel systems are giving defenders like Rudiger and Thiago Silva to sometimes find themselves in striking positions. Tuchel has mastered this class and it’s perfectly suited the team. Everyone can score goals. It’s a Chelsea thing not Salah, Mane thing or KDB, Foden thing.

3. Easy run of fixtures and ability to annihilate smaller oppositions

Chelsea first 6 matches defined their season. In the first 6 Chelsea had to play Liverpool (A), Arsenal(A), Spurs (A) and Man City (H) but still the club found itself on position 1, that was the turning point of this season. What is more beautiful with Chelsea this season is ability to roast so called smaller clubs. Tuchel has found a way of beating smaller oppositions that have been causing problems to Chelsea in recent seasons. The signing of Lukaku was good and has helped a team in this course. There has been an improvement in attaching prowess by Chelsea this season that is giving boggey clubs tough time to contain Chelsea. Thus why out of 10 matches Chelsea have roasted alive all 6 boggey clubs with an average of 3 goals. This is in contrast to Liverpool and City who have dropped points against Brighton, Brentford and Soton and Crystal Palace respectively. They are surely lacking a quality which Chelsea has at the moment. They are likely to drop more points in unexpected positions as season progress. Chelsea has quality.

4-Squad depth

Each position is very strong. Everyone can be replaced. Thus how good Chelsea is. Likes of Sarr, Ruben Loftus Cheek, Barkley, Chalobar have consistently enjoyed game time this season and they are playing extraordinary well. This has created a very big competition in the squad that most of times the so called big players are being dropped on bench. This is the quality which we talking about. Yesterday at Anfied we saw the likes of Minomino and co. in Liverpool squad and we all saw what happened. Man City rotation in midweek costed them league cup title at hands of Westham. Only Chelsea can do squad rotation and win the match with same spirit because of quality of squad they have.

5. Tuchel factor

A day in office after signing a short contract at Chelsea he promised to build a team that no one would want to play against. Not even a year in his office Tuchel has won Uefa Champions League, Super Cup and has helped Chelsea to lead the English log table from word go this season. This is no mean achievement. Tuchel believe in his abilities and team has quickly adapted to his philosophy. It’s clearly working. He knows qualities of his players what’s best for the team. Tuchel is tactically sound and he can beat anyone. He is not afraid to make big decisions.
