Different relationships are defined by the needs for which they are brought into existence.
A business relationship is brought into existence for mutual business growth & profit-making, a friendship relationship is based on the need for friendship, likewise, romantic relationships such as dating, courting, and marriage are inspired and brought into existence by the need for romance. Romance is for emotional stability, the cornerstone of which is sex.
This means that if you are not ready for sex, do not get into a romantic relationship. If there is anyone that you cannot imagine having sex with and be proud you do so, do not get into a romantic relationship with him.
It is called a romantic relationship because it was inspired by the need for romance, the vital part of which is sex. Getting into a romantic relationship and acting as if sex is out of place is contentious stupidity.
