Football; John Mikel Obi assigned shirt no. He Wore At Chelsea, As He Becomes New Kuwait SC Captain.

Kuwaiti Premier League club Kuwait SC held the official presentation for their marquee signing of the summer transfer window, John Obi Mikel on Monday, August 2.
The former Super Eagles captain made a shock move to Kuwait SC earlier this month, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2021-2022 season.
Mikel has been assigned the number 12 kit by Kuwait SC, a number he wore with pride throughout his more than a decade association with Chelsea.
The 2016 Rio Olympics bronze medalist also wore the number 12 at the back of his jersey during his time with Turkish club Trabzonspor, and was allocated the numbers 20, 10, 2 and 13 at Lyn Oslo, Tianjin Teda, Middlesbrough and Stoke City respectively.
In a remarkable gesture, Mikel has been appointed captain of Kuwait SC for the new season, with Hussein Hakim ceding the captaincy to the experienced midfielder who won the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup as a Chelsea player.
The two-time World Cupper has started training with his new teammates at Kuwait SC ahead of the 2021-2022 season.
